Everything is a Lie
She received a mysterious email, and the subject line reads,
"Everything you know is a lie". Katie opened the email and read
further. "Act calm as to not alert anyone, but everyone around you is not
who they say they are. You need to get out of there quietly and meet me at the
spot where you had your first kiss. You know the place. My name is L."
I read the email
furiously. My day was already bad enough. "Are you even serious right now?
This is a joke!" Katie already had had enough on her plate to deal with
already. And now this total bullshit?
She went along with the gag joke anyways as she could see
through her shadow the fumes of anger seeping through her ears. She had already
had her suspicions as to who it was. She assumed it was Brandon. The class
clown and school wide d-bag. The word around school was he was infamously a
drug dealer with the IQ of a worm. She laughed at the thought. Even the close
up of a worms face was still better looking than him. That was the best
compliment she had in her. 'My name is L'. How cliché.
She made it to the spot. Underneath the gazebo. She hated to
admit the fact that her first kiss was with the exact same person she loathed.
The memory soaked her skin as it all came flooding back into her memory. 'Stop
this Katie. It wasn't truly your first kiss. The jerk off stole it from you.
Keep your anger and use it wisely.' Just as she was thinking to herself, The
Neighborhood started to play. Her favorite song came on. Flawless. She turned
her head to see the one and only Brandon McGregor.
The strong smell of weed flowed from his veins and showed
his desperation for forgiveness and redemption demanded her attention from his
bloody red, puffy eyes. "Pathetic, but fitting." his head tilted
down.
"I saw your blog Katie. The one for our class... Why
did you say those lies about me...? About us?!" His voice betrayed him as
it was flawed with cracks in it. Breaking from his spine. "Just tell me
you are sorry and fix your blog and this can all end now."
She let a chuckle escape with her breath. "It was the
truth. And you should be the one saying sorry to me. I gave you everything and
what did I get in return? I got a beating. Broken ribs and a broken heart. So I
will never apologize to you. You can burn in hell just like your damned Mary
J." She lunged spitting in his face. She regretted it automatically when
she saw what he was holding.
"I see that you have met my little buddy L. We warned
you Katie. Now L and I will share a kiss of death with you together."

Click.
Boom.
No alert. Just silence and the comfort of lies.

Blackfish (Review)
Blackfish is a riveting documentary about Orca whales and their life through their captivity in Sea World. The film concentrates on one specific whale named Tilikum. Tilikum started off in the wild with his mother. He had no idea that at the young age of four he would be taken away and forced to do pathetic low tricks just to be fed.
The film suggests that the life at Sea world is making these killer whales become true killers. There are countless numbers of deaths by orca's in sea world as they attempt to cover it up.
The Documentary really does open up the minds of people to rethink what we are doing. After all, what if you were taken away at the age of four from your mother and forced to perform?

ABC Rant
Before everything went bad.
Caring was popular.
Even normal.
Don't try and brush it off as a fable.
Fiction tends to be misleading to the readers.
Go ahead and laugh.
Have your moment of pride.
I'll pray for you.
Just don't have any regrets about it.
Kindness good be the cure to everything.
Let love in and give it a try.
My generation isn't the one at fault for stupidity.
No. We will not take the blame..
Open your eyes for once!
Please don't give up.
Quitting was never an option.
Real talk.
Suicide happens.
Take time to notice the signs.
Underneath the surface we are all the same.
Varied with emotions and memories.
When will people learn?
X-rays of people are only the start.
Younger generations accept change while we push it away.
Zero time for recovery. Just enough time to go with the flow.

Trapped In Wonderland (The Ending)
It was an early August morning. The sun had blinded my eyes from it's powerful bright rays. My eyes quickly adjusted and I was back in my neighborhood. Yeah, I was only a couple of blocks away from my old house. Was it Halloween? There were scarecrows, and pumpkins. I quickly checked the paper that lay next to me. October 31, 2003. I had a second chance. I could save everyone. my family, I have to save them.
I quickly rose and ran lightly touching my heals on the sidewalk with every step. 'They could grow up. Get to go to high school, and prom, and graduation. They could date, get married and have kids of their very own. I could save them. Rudy could be killed and this HELL will all be over.' I stopped and stared at my front door. Through the window I could see my mom and dad holding Annabethe as Andy cried wanting more milk. I remembered being so annoyed by it all. I remember wondering why I couldn't be an only child. I was such an idiot for thinking that.
Tears fell from my face and I didn't even notice. Flashbacks flooded my memory of their bodies lifeless covered in crimson blood, and me? I was helpless and a coward. I couldn't stop any of it. But now I can change it all. I can save them.
My parents spotted me. They screamed my name and ran outside.
"Alice! When did you get outside and what on earth are you wearing?!" without thinking I had glanced down at my outfit. I was still in my time travel clothes. "I... I uh still don't know.."
"What?" My dad retorted furious. God I missed that.
I knew what i had to do. I had pushed past them and stormed inside. I gave my siblings a kiss and told them i love them. I turned around and as my parents entered, i hugged them and did the same. They were dumbfounded but I had no time to explain. I quickly ran up the stairs and into my old room. I was still on the bed.
"Alice!" My parents screamed terrified as i locked the door slamming it. My old self screamed as my dad pounded on the door. "Look, I'm sorry but this is for our family. I promise."
"Alice open the door right now!" I ignored and I took out the knife that Rudy had given me for emergencies. I tackeled myself and pinned her down. Of course I struggeled, but I had to do it. I quickly took the knife and slit the throat of my past self. Just as I did my dad knocked the door down. My mother screamed and ran to us. I started to cry. "I'm so sorry. You will never understand but I had to die in order to save everyone." My dad fell to his knees. I Coughed heavily as my throat slowly started to open like the other. "I love you"
Time had finally caught up with me. Infinity was finally over.

HATE and the Silver Lining
Hate. It is word that is thrown around and has lost it's effect or meaning. As a verb it means
Hate holds passion. Furious and dark. Sometimes used against parents by rioting teens or kids. They didn't let you date that boy/girl because of whatever reason. So you hate them. You can hate actions too. I hate the fact that my dad walked out on me fore drugs when I was a kid.
But there is always a Silver Lining right? I mean, that is what everyone says. When you truly hate someone or something, your eyes actually open up and find what you love. I love my mom for being strong enough to raise me all on her own. In fact, I respect her. If you hate something, take a step back to see what you love. So, what do you love?
"
feel intense or passionate dislike for (someone); intense or passionate dislike; used politely to express one's regret or embarrassment at doing something; express strong dislike for; criticize or abuse ". Tell This Story

Prom night had arrived and Julia was patiently waiting for her boyfriend of 3 years, Kevin. Her mother and older sister, Jane, were helping her get ready. She had her dress on that she picked out weeks before; her grandmothers bracelet that was handed down to her, and her new high heels.
Her best friend Andrea text-ed her asking her "What happened to you and Kevin? Did you guys like, breakup or something?" That's when Julia began to feel sick. "What the hell are you talking about? I am waiting for him to pick me up." Five minutes passed till Andrea replied. "I am so sorry Jules... But he is at my neighbors house with another girl. they are all touchy-feely and apparently they have been together for 6 months. He is such an asshole.. If you want to, Dylan and I could come and get you." "No thanks." No time was given to let the news sink in. She hopped into her blue Mercedes and drove to Andreas. When she arrived, she got her ax out of the trunk just for her ex

Just a Little Positivity for YOU (:
You know what I don't get? The fact that us as human beings, ad as people, how in the world could we purposefully hurt one another? We know what all of the emotions feel like. We know that if we are cut, then we will bleed. Why would you cause someone to cry tears of sorrow and depression? It is just wrong. I mean, we don't want that to happen to us. We all want to have an amazing day just like everyone else. Why the hell would you even insult someone completely innocent just by their clothes? Do you lack a soul? Is it lost, or did you sell it to the Devil?
I know that none of us are perfect. I am far from it myself. I am not a size 1, I don't have perfect skin, and I do not come from perfectly wholesome family, but this doesn't make me any less of a person. If anything, it makes me, me.
I love to look around and see everyone's imperfections. It is what makes us unique. Personally, it would be too boring to see people look exactly the same. I could care less if someone is short, or fat. I could care less if you get perfect grades or if you barely pass each and every class. I love the gaps in teeth, and your long uncontrollable hair, and I love your awkward walk, and I love the fact that you obsess over little things.
Our differences makes living worth while.

The Lego Movie--REVIEW
The Lego Movie is about a modern day Lego man who is average. He starts his days the same as every other Lego. He gets up, watches TV, brushes his hair, buys over priced coffee, listens to the hit song on the radio and goes to work. One day a work, he looses his manual as it fly's off into the wind. Of course he chases after it, and catches it. What he doesn't know, is that he runs into a mysterious girl who he automatically falls head over heals with. She will become his guide to his new adventures.
This movie kind of mocks modern day society. All of the popular stuff is what is in the movie. Over priced coffee? Hello, that is Starbucks. In a sense it mocks the favored things of modern day culture. Which is hilarious! I personally give it 4 stars. (No movie shall ever get all 5 stars from me.) You could make it a date movie to break away from the typical romantic and action movies that always fill the theaters, or take your younger siblings or even the kids that you babysit.

Trapped In Wonderland (chapter 2) -
[THIS MIGHT BE A LITTLE WEIRD AND MESSED UP, SO I APOLOGIZE FOR THE FUTURE -BIANCA]
We landed in the middle of the Bean in Chicago. It was starting to get cold, and we looked like fools in our shorts and our (barely) t-shirts. We had looked around and walked up and out of the bean as everyone around us stared and laughed. It was humiliating, just like back then...
"Hey, uh Alice?"I turned my head to look at Kate who was all bug eyed.
I couldnt help but let out a soft laugh. That got her to glare at me. I quickly cleared my throat and responded, "Sorry. What's up Kate?"
"We kind of stick out like a goth in a Justin Beiber concert. I mean, just look around!" I didn't have to avert my eyes to know what was happening. I knew exactly what my parents wore back in their golden years-as they always said to me.
"Then let's go shopping and then find our man." I grinned and grabbed her hand pulling her the direction that Macy's which was a Marshall Field's at the moment.
We stepped through the doors and looked around.
"Wow." I nodded in agreement.
"My mom always told me that a Marshall Field's existed here, but I thought that it was just a legend."
I smiled looking around. "Well come on. We need to fit in so that our cover won't be blown."
"Don't say another word Alice. Shopping is my life." She really meant it too.
We ran through the aisles just like we were kids again. we quickly found our section and the prices were cheap. Why did they ever have to rise?
We both went simple with our outfits. Baggy clothes with a flannel shirt. To really convince everyone, we even wore chokers.
We walked with confidence to the train station. We were heading towards Riverdale. His name was Rudy and he lived right off of West 144th Street.
Rudy was a cold hearted vacuum. His only purpose was to consume anything in his path. And you could tell that he didn't care who he had to crush in his path. every now and then he would change his looks to stay out of the spotlight. His name and purpose were always the same. He was the one to find Kate and I. He always tells us how HE was the one that made us and that we owed him our own lives. If you ask me, he is the one that had ruined us. He was the one that had killed our parents. One day I hope for revenge, but for now I am too weak and I am forced to do his dirty work.
We walked into his house. Smoke filled our lungs choking us barely allowing us to breathe. He was a drug addict. Surprise, surprise. This time it was crystal meth, cigarettes, and alcohol. Only a shot of whiskey. I coughed trying to save my lungs but it was no use. we walked into the room to find him. This time he looked like a younger version of John Stamos. Rudy always had his looks exceed his personality.
"You girls need to learn some manners. Entering a room, let alone a house, is very rude. Anyways, i expect that everything is in place now?" We nodded. "Now can we get the money that we are promised?" Kate jumped to demands. He handed us both 50's.
"What the hell is this Rudy?! We were both promised at least 200!!!" Kate steamed.
He grinned as he usually did and chuckled. "Well' in this day and age, that is about 200. Give or take, I was always bad with math.Anyways girls, time to be off. Your next mission is waiting.
Kate didn't move at all and held her money furiously. "Kate. Let it go. Come on." I clutched onto her tense arm and gently pulled her away. She followed fuming and we walked out the door and down the street. she started to cry in anger. "I swear to GOD I am going to kill that man one day! He can't keep on treating us like this Alice! I mean for Christ sake he killed our family!"
"It is kind of hard to forget, but-"
"but nothing! We have to kill him before he offs us." she wiped her tears and then grabbed both of my hands. Her eyes started to search for some kind of fire starting inside of me from her so called 'speech'. "Alice. I know that we could do it. You and me we could kill him right now. come on."
"Kate stop acting like this. I hate him as much as you do, if not more. Right now isn't the time to act rash." I snatched my hands away and looked around to see if anyone was watching us. "Get a hold of yourself right now okay? We have to do this mission and grow stronger and learn his secrets and then, and I mean only then, would we be able to destroy him."
She looked at me hurt. It wasn't the first time that she had pulled this stuff. She did have a right after all. Rudy had burned her parents on stakes right in front of her and her little twin brothers. If that wasn't bed enough, he then took her twins and ... decapitated them in the end. The thing about Rudy is that he is someone who doesn't take no for an answer; and if you were to cross his path and anger him, let's just say it would be your last mistake.
Kate grabbed my hands and stopped me from sending us to the mission. "I'll do it. You are going to drain yourself if you don't stop." I nodded and let her do it. She closed her eyes and we traveled to 2013.
We had landed a block away from my house which had been condemned for the murders of my family. Still till this day it lay empty and wrecked just like the day I had left it. Kate walked on the property and turned back to me. "Are you coming?" I didn't answer her. I didn't want to talk. I felt as if I was to stay silent then, i could her all of their laughs. All I did was follow.
We walked inside and shut the creaky door behind us. There was still blood stains everywhere in the house along with ripped caution tape. I had decided to venture up the stairs to my room which was in the middle of my siblings. I slowly opened the door to find everything in its place, right where it had belonged. I almost smiled until i saw the words spray painted on my walls. 'Burn in Hell!', 'Antichrist', 'It Should have been HER'. I creeped inside my once forgotten room and looked around. In all of my pictures were bullet holes straight through my head. I couldn't stand it any longer and i ran out of my room slamming the door shut behind me.
Kate looked at me and automatically understood what had happened. "Come here. You might want to take a look at this." She lead me to the remains of Anabethe's room. Around her crib were burnt out candles that were still warm. inside her crib were bears, and dolls, and letters, and pictures. I took one that was of my family minus me. Someone had burned me out of it but I didn't care. I took the picture and stuffed it inside of my purse and waked out of the room as Kate followed.
"Are you fine with staying the night here Alice?" She asked me all concerened.
"Yeah that's fine with me. I just can't stay in my room." We both had agreed to not set another foot inside of my room. So we went downstairs and decided to take shelter in the guest room. It was the only place that hadn't been touched in over a decade.
Since the water still worked Kate decided to hop into the shower and clean off while I took a nap.
I had just gotten dropped off by my best friend Lucy and her boyfriend Jeff. It was only 11:45 so my parents had no reason at all to be mad at me. I waved my friends off and got my key out of my candy bag. I walked up our small porch and went for the door as it opened on it's own. I stopped laughing to myself thinking that my parents were drunk beyond belief and partied a little too hard. I shut and locked the door behind myself as i heard a bang come from the upstairs by my parents room. "Ew gross. Couldn't they have more control? They have two little kids. Jesus."
I walked up to my room and took off my costume and makeup. I hopped into a sweatshirt and some shorts and decided i would at least tell my parents I was home. They always locked their door when they were busy so I had no worries. I left my door open and walked up the last set of stairs that lead to the attic on the right, and my parents room on the left. "Hey, I'm home, so keep it down up there. i have school in the morning." I had waited a minute and there was no response. I Knocked on the door as it opened a crack. I could start to feel my heart pound to faster beat then usual and I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I ignored it and opened the door taking two steps inside. Their room was pitch black and I had to let my eyes adjust. "Mom? Dad?" A murmur came from inside as i opened the door all the way to find my parents tied to the bed. My fathers throat was cut and was cold to the touch. my mom had something in her stomach but i could tell that she was alive. I ran to her side "Mom!" I took the duct tape off of her mouth and ran my hands through her sweaty hair. "G-g-get the kids.... Run." She took her last breathe and was gone. I started to ball in confusion. "What are you talking about om?! This is a Really sick joke!! Wake up! Come on please..." I started to shake her roughly in hopes that she would hear me. "WAKE UP MOM! PLEASE!"
"Oh that won't work." An unfamiliar voice. All I could think of then and there was of my brother and sister. As I ran down the stairs to my brother's room, a deep laughter followed me. I stormed through his door and pulled the blankets off of his bed to only find pillows. "Andrew?!"
"Splash splash Andy! It's bath time. Shh, sister will hear us" It was the same voice as in my parents room.
"STAY AWAY FROM MY BROTHER YOU BASTARD!" I threw the bathroom door open to find my brother in his pj's, under the water, not moving. I screamed "What are you doing to me?!" No response.
Anabethe wailed uncontrollably as i ran to her room. No trace of her. I turned around to see a shadowed figure walk up the stairs. I gave it chase as I saw it walk into the attic. "Please!" I begged as i could barely manage getting up the stairs. I was blinded by my tears and fears. "Don't hurt her!" I stumbled through the already opened door to find a man of about 6"2 cradling my baby sister in his arms.
"Look Anabethe, It's Alice!"
"Let her go!"
"Oh Alice. Please, we both know what's going to heppen to her."
"Please! Don't hurt he-"
"SHUT UP" I jumped back a little by his yell. Anabethe was silent. He smirked as i stared at her.
"Oh-ho! So did you figure it out yet?" He dropped her and kicked her aside as he stomped over towards me. i couldn't move. 'scream. grab a phone. Do something you idiot! HE IS GOING TO KILL YOU NEXT!' All I did was sat there.
"My name is Rudy, and you are now coming with me."

Trapped In Wonderland
Late August. That's all that I remember from seeing them. My family that is.
It was close to Halloween and we were of course, carving pumpkins. My little brother, Andrew, was five at the time. I remember that he loved ripping out the pumpkins guts and feeling them and making our sister, Anabeth who was three, scream and cry because she didn't like the way that it all felt. My mom and dad would choose sides unknowing. My family was oblivious. It was so amazing to me. Unfortunately it as also their downfall.
It was Halloween of 2003. I had brought my little siblings back home so I could go out to party with my friends. My mother was watching a scary movie on the couch curled up net to popcorn. My father had answered the door suspecting another trick-or-treater.
"Trick or treat!!" Andrew screamed with joy. I laughed and patted him on top of the head.
"Buddy, this is our house."
"Oh? well, I know that. I just want more candy."
my father placed down the bowl of candy and turned towards us; picked up Andrew. "Come on little man, time for bath."
"But biggy man, I want candy!!!"
"After your bath, I promise."
you could hear the bathwater run as i stepped inside closing the door behind me. i glanced round our decorated house with spiders hanging on the walls and Ghosts in every corner just as if in n I Spy book. Anabeth started to cry as my mother muted the TV. "Why don't you go and set her down for a nap?' I nodded and took off my boots from my hippie costume nd followed the path that my father hd taken up the stairs towards the dark corridor. To the right of me you could hear Andrew playing with his toys in the bathtub.
"Come on Ana-B. Lets get you out of your cupcake outfit and into your pj's. Sound like a plan?"
I changed her and lay her in her crib. i hummed her a soft and gentle lullaby nd when her eyes were closed, i had silently walked out. i walked back down the stirs and saw my parents cuddling and giggling like the kids from school. I made a gagging sound and said that i was leaving.
"No later than 11 hunny." i turned towards the clock. only 9:30.
"and if one hair of my little princess is out of place," my father had stood and walked over to me. he raised his fist "you both will get this." Then he leaned over and kissed my forehead.
"okay daddy." and i left for the party. Without ever saying I love you.
"Alice. Alice!! " A girl of about 19 years walked up to me and shook me out of my memories.
"what?" i blinked fast shaking my head. "oh. Kate I'm sorry. Ha ha lot in thought again I guess."
"Well you need to snap out of it already! The police are coming for us gin! we need to go."
"When to this time?"
she grabbed my hand pulling me up and dragging me towards the ledge. "I don't care, you choose. Maybe coming a month after 9/11 wasn't the best plan."
"y think?" the door to the roof-top swung open as swat ran through screaming t us.
"OK! to the 90's we go!" we leaped without a second thought as the swat tried to stop us but to no luck.
Halfway to the ground people screamed as we disappeared in midair.
"What the fuck was that?"
"Your guess is as good as mine l.t."
Maybe this time I will see my family.

The Wolf Of Wallstreet
The Wolf Of Wall Street is a phenomenal movie about a man named Jordan Belfort starting at the bottom of the stock broker chain and working his way up to become a millionaire. He lives a very luxurious lifestyle of no rules or cares for the law. If you are not into cursing, or seeing nudity, or into seeing people foolishly do drugs, then this is not your movie. Also not a family movie for explicit sex scenes.
I would give it four out of five stars.

prompt # 2
She gasped with excitement and shouted over the noise of the propeller:
"The islands in the clouds are real!!"
She had been waiting her whole life to find this mystical land. After years of research from her mother and her father and her brother, she had been the one to find it. she had almost lost all hope but she kept pushing through, just for her grandfather.
When she was just a kid, her whole family was under one roof. a perfectly happy family. the only thing that she didn't see coming was her grandmother leaving her grandfather for a younger man. Of course her grandfather chased and begged her grandmother to stay and not leave his side. He needed her. She was his heart and could and the only thing that has ever kept him alive. She rejected him coldly and packed her bags and was gone. He was broken.
For months all the grandfather could do was sit on the couch and down whiskey.
One day the grandfather had grabbed his paper and had seen his runaway love in it. She was front page news in a beautiful gown that held her just right. Still forever stunning in his eyes. a whole article on her life. How she ran away from him to join a man named John. John and her were married three weeks later. still young in the honey moon stage and then, she just hated the man. She learned to loathe him for pulling her away from the grandfather. Blamed him for tearing her apart from her own family. Her only blood. She dealt with it for a month and then she vanished. She was never on the news. This had been this first article since her disappearance. The grandfather knew what he had to do. He had to go after her and find her. He packed immediatly knowing that she would be in the clouds. The land that only they knew about. So in the middle of the night, he left a note and went there.
The thing is the family had no maps or directions to the place. They were left clueless. So they finally went and investigated.

I Believe
I believe that war is natural. Us as humans fight every day.
With words, knives and guns. We can kill someone by just saying that “he or she
should never wear that outfit again.” We all live in a war today. Some big and
some small. A war by definition is an organized and often prolonged conflict
that is carried out by states or non-state actors. It is generally characterized
by extreme violence, social disruption, and economic destruction. Sometimes a
war doesn’t just involve tanks, grenades and soldiers going M.I.A. Maybe war is considered a battle within
oneself to accept what they are. I believe that war can even occur at school in
the classroom where you are supposed to be safe. The war between grades, the
war between fitting-in and being true to yourself, the war to stick it through
or just stop drop and roll out of school. I believe that the war could even be
at home with your own family. The war to stand up for your beliefs, or pipe
down and nod your head; just agree with the ones that “made you”. I believe that the biggest war of all is life itself. The
greatest decision of all is to live and breathe, or die and dream. The simplest
of wars is religion. Which one is right, which one is wrong, which one is real;
which one do we need to follow? I
believe that religion is the face of wars. I believe that if there was no
religion, people would have more room for love for each other and less room for
hate. People wouldn’t be so closed minded as to push others away for their “sins”
and instead welcome them and show them that this world is for everyone. I believe
that maybe then, all of the other wars would stop if we would just stop holding
so much faith and hope in one single book. I believe that if we were to look
into ourselves instead of a book, then people could be united and not cut, or
force themselves to throw up, or even be called a slut after one little
mistake. I believe that this world is pretty sad to say the least. But I also
believe that we as humans, can make everything better only if we were to open
our hearts and minds to others lives.
